Is Raising Cane withdrawing as title sponsor of Toni Breidinger? Well, there were rumors and speculation surrounding the partnership between the driver and the sponsor earlier this month. Front Stretch insider Mark Kristl reported that the Venturini Motorsports driver is looking for more sponsors to continue her full-time career in the ARCA Menards Series.
Raising Cane’s and Breidinger recently collaborated on a national in-store marketing campaign. It was a great success for the fast food chain. Therefore, speculation about his involvement as the ARCA star’s title sponsor came as a bit of a surprise. However, Breidinger’s recent activity on social media, promoting the growth of Raising Cane, has cleared the air a bit about their partnership.

We’ve seen multiple fast food chains and restaurants partner with NASCAR drivers. McDonald’s, Burger King, Subway and Wendy’s have often appeared on race cars. However, none of these brands collaborated with female racing drivers. This is where Breidinger, by adding Raising Cane’s as his title sponsor for the No. 15 Venturini Motorsports race, paved the way for such efforts.
The quick-service restaurant has reached new heights in 2023 and is expected to grow exponentially this year. The brand is projected to do $4.5 billion in systemwide sales and they are looking to add more than 350 locations. Its Times Square location is expected to generate $20 million, according to a report by QSR magazine.
Reacting to these reports and projections, Toni Breidinger, through her X account, responded: “And one of the few qsr that supports and funds women in sports!” However, there is still no clarity or confirmation on whether Raising Cane’s will retain the Venturini Motorsports star for his entire ARCA campaign. Especially after seeing Cane’s logo on the side panel of his race car in recent races instead of on the front of the hood.

At the moment this is just speculation, as neither party has made any comments about a possible breakup of the partnership. Additionally, Bridenger is really looking to make the 2024 ARCA season count and has set ambitious goals.

This is only the second full-time ARCA career for the Victoria’s Secret model. In 2022, he achieved a sixth place in the championship standings. But after running fifty ARCA races, Breidinger is looking to take the title in 2024 in just his second full-time race. The 24-year-old has achieved three top-10 finishes since the start of the year, and with 15 races still to go, she might fancy her chances of a glorious finish.

Sharing his goal for the season while speaking in an interview with Jeff Gluck, he said, “I refrained from saying this a couple of years ago, but I got the championship in the ARCA Series this year. I’m running the full season. I did it two years ago and obviously that was my goal. I wasn’t trying to race away from the championship, but it was also my rookie season and I was being realistic about where I was as a driver. But this year, that’s definitely my number one goal.”
He is 40 points behind the leader, Andrés Pérez, in the drivers’ standings after five races. Had it not been the initial accident during the season opener at Daytona, Breidinger would be looking at a completely different picture.
