The NASCAR Xfinity Series has a rare standalone race among the three national series with Saturday’s Pacific Office Automation 147 at Portland International Raceway.
Saturday’s race is a great opportunity for Kaulig Racing with drivers AJ Allmendinger and Shane van Gisbergen. Both drivers are winless this season, although Allmendinger would comfortably make the Xfinity Series playoffs on points. Both are also road course specialists.
PIR has featured some interesting late race restarts since being added to the Xfinity Series schedule. Saturday’s winner will no doubt need some fortune as well as talent.
