Tom Brady wrote a heartfelt message to his father and children on Sunday to mark Father’s Day.
In a post shared on Instagram, the retired NFL quarterback, 46, thanked his “hero,” Tom Sr., for being “the best role model I could have asked for,” before moving on to his three children: Jack, 16 years old. and Benjamín, 14, and his daughter Vivian, 11, “for giving me the gift of being a father.”
“Happy Father’s Day to my HERO and the best role model I could have asked for. “And THANK YOU to these children for giving me the gift of being a father, a joy I could never have imagined until you came into my life,” Brady wrote. “I hope to give you everything my dad gave me… unconditional love and support.”

Brady accompanied the publication with a collection of family photographs that also featured his mother, Galynn.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion shares Jack with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan. He is the father of Benjamin and Vivian with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, whom he divorced in 2022.
Brady’s children joined him Wednesday in Foxborough, where the Patriots inducted him into their Hall of Fame and retired his No. 12 jersey during a celebration at Gillette Stadium.

“Your dad loves you more than anything in this world,” Brady said in his speech.
“…There is no greater joy than watching all three of them grow and teach me things on their path to becoming incredible young adults.”
Brady began his prolific NFL career with the Patriots in 2000 and spent two decades in New England, winning six championships.

He took his talents to Tampa Bay after the 2019 season and won the 2021 Super Bowl with the Buccaneers.
Brady hung up his shoes permanently in 2023 after 23 seasons.
The future Hall of Famer is now preparing for his first season as Fox Sports’ lead NFL analyst.
Brady, who will work alongside Kevin Burkhardt in the booth, said this week on the “SI Media With Jimmy Traina” podcast how many in the business have offered him support as he begins this career transition.
“Everyone really opened their arms to hug me and make phone calls and there’s still more I’m going to do before the start of the season. And I’m so grateful for people who shared a lot of great things, ways to be successful, that I’ll be able to get involved in as I move forward,” Brady said.
He will make his television debut on September 8 when the Cowboys face the Browns in Week 1.
