Kansas City Chiefs player Isaiah Buggs has been accused of dragging his daughter’s mother down a flight of stairs and injuring her, according to a report.
Buggs was arrested again on Sunday, this time on a domestic violence and robbery charge, just weeks after the Super Bowl winner was charged with a pair of misdemeanors in an animal cruelty case.
Buggs was booked into Alabama on Sunday morning before being released on $5,000 bail, according to Tuscaloosa County jail records.
It has now emerged that the woman told police that Buggs broke into her home in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, with a tire iron around 5:28 a.m. CDT on Sunday, according to TMZ.
She claimed he went upstairs to confront her before dragging her downstairs.

The woman alleged that the incident caused her to break several “clip nails,” while police noted she had scratches on her wrist.
Buggs allegedly left the scene after the woman told him she was calling the police. He was located in a nearby Little Caesars parking lot and placed under arrest.
On May 30, Buggs turned himself in to police after being charged with two misdemeanor counts of second-degree animal cruelty in Tuscaloosa.
Buggs was accused of leaving two dogs on the back porch of his home, located near his alma mater, the University of Alabama.
According to legal documents, Tuscaloosa police and Animal Control officers found a pit bull surrounded by feces and without access to food or water.
First responders also found a black Rottweiler mix locked in a metal cage, in direct sunlight, with no access to food or water.
The civil petition says the dogs were confiscated by the city because they were severely “malnourished, emaciated and abandoned.”
According to doctors, the residence appeared to be abandoned at the time of the initial call, although neighbors claimed the dogs had been on the porch for at least ten days.
Investigators discovered that the home was rented to Buggs and that his lease was terminated in April because he owed more than $3,000 in back rent. Witnesses say Buggs moved out of the house around March 19.
The Tuscaloosa County Animal Shelter euthanized the pit bull after it became increasingly aggressive and failed heartworm treatment.
Meanwhile, the Rottweiler mix tested positive for parvovirus and weighed a dangerously low 52 pounds when he arrived at the shelter.
It’s yet another twist in a long offseason for the defending Super Bowl champions after several team members were arrested or embroiled in controversy.

Rookie receiver Rashee Rice allegedly punched a photographer outside a Dallas nightclub, although he will not face charges.
He also faces criminal and civil issues over a racing incident in Dallas that caused a crash involving a half-dozen vehicles in March.
Additionally, Wanya Morris and Chukwuebuka Godrick were arrested in Kansas for misdemeanor marijuana possession.
Both players were arrested and released after posting bail. They could face a fine of $2,500 and possibly a year in jail.
Controversy has also surrounded Chiefs star kicker Harrison Butker over a commencement speech he gave at Benedictine College in Kansas.
Butker congratulated the women who received their degrees and said most of them were probably more excited about getting married and having children than about starting a career.
Butker, whose own mother is an accomplished physicist, also criticized Pride month and President Joe Biden’s stance on abortion.
The controversial speech has sparked a fierce backlash, and a day after his speech, a petition was created to remove the Chiefs kicker from the team’s roster ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
