The NASCAR Cup Series held a very short practice session at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming USA Today 301 on Sunday.
The practice session itself was delayed by weather, and once the 36 cars finally reached the 1.058-mile track, they were able to lap for about four minutes before it rained again and ended the session early. .
Because of this, there is not much to learn from this practice session as far as our analysis is concerned. However, crew chiefs were able to learn a few things to help prepare their cars for Sunday’s race, such as William Byron’s crew chief Rudy Fugle:
