A “little putter” has appeared in downtown Milwaukee. “Dinky Links” is open during the summer outside the Milwaukee Public Market. It’s a miniature golf course in the same location as last winter’s ice skating rink, “Dinky Rink.” “As the weather got warmer, we wanted to find ways to continue bringing the community together in a fun and inventive way,” Paige Hammond said. The course has five different holes and a practice green. The “Dinky Links” will remain open until June 30, but limited spots are available. You can reserve your 60-minute tee time for $20 on the public market website. All proceeds go to First Tee Southeast Wisconsin, a Milwaukee-based charity that teaches children and teens life skills through golf. The Milwaukee Public Market, and all it has to offer, was voted the number one best public market in the country last month. Don’t forget, you can stream the first season of “Show Me Milwaukee” on the free Very Local app.
