Max Homa didn’t take home the Wanamaker Trophy on Sunday, but he became an Instagram legend after capping a wild PGA Championship weekend with a top-notch commentary.
Shooting a 2-under 69 in the final round of the Major at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, tying for 35th at 8-under overall, Homa reflected on his performance with a cheeky reference to his fellow star of the PGA Tour, Scottie Scheffer. , who was arrested before the start of the second round on Friday and finished with a 5-under 66 that day.
“Frustrating week in KY. She lost to a guy who was literally in jail on Friday morning. Look at me hard. The ride continues in Fort Worth next week,” Homa captioned the Instagram post that featured photos of the action in Valhalla, where Scheffler tied for eighth place overall.
