USA Global restaurateur HMSHost, part of Avolta, has partnered with the National Association of Stock Car Racing (NASCAR) to create what it describes as “the ultimate pit stop” at Terminal 1 at St. Louis Lambert International Airport .
The officially licensed, 90-seat NASCAR Drafthouse features walls adorned with stock car racing memorabilia. The restaurant has an all-day menu offering comfort food inspired by the American South, as well as a full bar and convenient takeout options.
Breakfast options include flaky biscuits and sausage gravy, a diced ham omelette with mushrooms and cheddar cheese, and a sweet and savory donut.
The NASCAR-themed spot features numerous televisions and offers a variety of hearty appetizers, entrees, burgers, sandwiches and early morning dining options.
The lunch and dinner menu includes a variety of stick-to-your-ribs seafood and barbecue dishes, such as farm-raised fried catfish and spicy grilled shrimp. Also available are creamy grits, chicken fried steak, pulled pork mac and cheese, burgers, classic sandwiches, gumbo and salads.
Draft and canned beer options include Anheuser-Busch products, as well as wine and specialty cocktails like The Caborita and The Checkered Flag, both with Cabo Wabo tequila.
The spirits menu includes moonshine, a nod to the early days of NASCAR, when numerous future racing drivers got their start as moonshine racers, building fast cars to transport moonshine throughout the Southeast.

In addition to several Sugarlands Shine offerings, NASCAR Drafthouse also features Midnight Moon, the award-winning moonshine inspired by the family recipe of legendary bootlegger and NASCAR Hall of Famer Junior Johnson.
A host of non-alcoholic beverages are also available, including Coca-Cola and Monster Energy products.
HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Bryan Loden said: “NASCAR is an icon of the world of motorsports and HMSHost is thrilled to have the opportunity to offer travelers and die-hard NASCAR fans a fun new food and beverage experience at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
