The NASCAR Cup Series takes place in Loudon, New Hampshire this weekend for USA Today 301. A wet weekend wiped out qualifying and has put questions over the status of Sunday’s race. Will it start on time? Will we get the 301 laps? Will the race be delayed until Monday?
Last week, the Cup Series held its first race at Iowa Speedway. Defending Cup champion Ryan Blaney drove to victory lane in that case, leading 201 of 350 laps to earn his first win of 2024.
Below are my NASCAR DFS lineup picks for USA Today 301 on DraftKings and FanDuel this week. This board crashes 6/23/2024 at 2:04 pmEDT. If you have any questions or want to talk about NASCAR, you can find me on Twitter at @juscarts.

Christopher Bell
Starts fourth – DK: $10.8K, FD: $13.5K
I think you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who didn’t see Christopher Bell as the favorite this weekend. Between his dominance at this track throughout his stock car career and his strong racing this year when he ran on the tire compound NASCAR uses for the race, Bell is an easy driver to pick to win this . Sure, you could argue that means you should fade him in GPPs because he’ll be overstaffed, but I think I’d rather follow Bell’s lead and find other ways to differentiate my lineup from everyone else’s.
Christopher Bell remains undefeated in Xfinity Series competition in New Hampshire. #NASCAR

Some competition on that “dominance at this track” thing I mentioned in the last paragraph: Bell has one win here in the Cup Series in 2022, but Xfinity is where his dominance has really shown. Counting Saturday’s race, Bell has four starts at Loudon in that series. He also has four wins.
Kyle Larson
Starts on the 19th – DK: $10.0K, FD: $12.5K
Solid position differential up here for Kyle Larson, who despite being second in points is in 19th place on the grid because the starting lineup formula for rain races takes into account last week’s 34th place in Iowa.
Larson is still looking for his first win at this track, but he has three second-place finishes and two third-place finishes here. He’s actually only led a surprising 22 laps here and I don’t necessarily think Larson is going to overtake this field and be fighting for the lead after 40 laps or so, but he’ll climb steadily and be in the battle for a top five before he end the day.
kyle busch
Starts on the 30th – DK: $7.7K, FD: $7.5K
Kyle Busch and this Richard Childress Racing team have struggled for much of the season, but that’s not necessarily a concern for us when he’s starting 30th. Sure, Busch has two 35th-place finishes in the last three races. , but had speed both times, qualifying in the top 10 at Gateway and Iowa. He was also fighting for a first place finish at Sonoma until he spun and ultimately finished 12th. Busch has plenty of position differential advantages this weekend, even as he struggles to consistently find speed and finish races in 2024.

Bubba Wallace
Starts 17th – DK: $7,500, FD: $7,800
This is a good track for Bubba Wallace in this Next Gen car. After never finishing in the top 20 here to start his career, Wallace has finished third and eighth since NASCAR introduced this car in 2022. He also qualified in the top 10 in both races, showing that those finishes were not coincidences and that he had speed in everything. weekend.
This week’s rain qualifiers have him starting 17th, giving DFS players some spot difference. I hope Wallace makes the top 10 in this one. I don’t think we’ll see a repeat of his 2022 third-place finish, but he can definitely match last year’s eighth.
Austin Cindric
Starts on the 29th – DK: $7.0K, FD: $6.2K
Starting 29th gives Austin Cindric a strong position differential, even though the No. 2 car had a middling season. Cindric has one win, but also has an average finish of just 22.3 and two top 10s.
Cindric’s win this year was at Gateway, a track that has some comparables to Loudon. The size and shape of the court differ, but it gives me hope that if Cindric was good there, he can be solid here. The Penske cars have performed well on flatter tracks overall this season.
Justin Haley
Starts on the 24th – DK: $6.1K, FD: $4.8K
Justin Haley’s name caught some attention this week in silly season rumors with talk of him moving to the Wood Brothers in 2025, but it looks like that has been shot down and Haley is happy to stay with Rick Ware Racing and continue building the one who was once a backmarker. team in a solid mid-pack package.

– Bumblebee48 🐝 (@KellieBlundell) June 19, 2024
Haley was ninth at Gateway and 13th at Iowa, both encouraging signs for his performance this weekend. He was also ninth at Darlington. Basically, over the last two months, Haley has shown massive improvement on tracks that are less than 1.5 miles but aren’t the traditional short tracks like Martinsville and Bristol, those tracks with high banking and bumps and grinds.
