Tulsa sophomore Grace Kilcrease qualified for the fourth and final round of the NCAA Championships on Monday at the La Costa Champions Course in Carlsbad, California.
Kilcrease’s 21st-place finish after Sunday’s third round advances her as she is among the top nine players not among the top 15 teams making the cut to compete for the NCAA individual title in women’s golf . None of the Oklahoma State golfers advanced.
Tulsa shot a third-round score of 308 on Sunday to finish with a 54-hole total score of 913, tying North Carolina for 26th place, one shot behind Oklahoma State, which tied for 24th place.
The top 15 teams advanced to the fourth round, while the top eight from that group after Monday will advance to match play. Texas A&M leads Stanford by one stroke. Arkansas is ninth with 877, one shot out of the top eight. Texas A&M’s Adela Cernousek is the individual leader at 12-under 204, six strokes ahead of Florida State’s Lottie Woad in second place.

Kilcrease is 2-over 218 through 54 holes after his second straight 71.
Sydney Seigel had Tulsa’s second-best round of the day with a 77 for a score of 225 and 71st place.
For Oklahoma State, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard finished her collegiate career with a 76 and was the Cowgirls’ top finisher with a 10-over 226 in 54 holes, tied for 79th. Hinson-Tolchard won Big 12 Player of Year awards in 2022 and 2023.
Ellie Bushnell matched her best round of the tournament, with a 75, to end her freshman season.
The windier conditions and more difficult pin positions were a challenge for all 30 teams on Sunday, with Stanford being the only team that was under par that day.
